Yuva Cultural and Sports Association

Yuva is a newly founded organization which was created to help a significant part of the community feel included and content. There is a growing population of Indians in Stockholm and it is important for them to feel more at home. So, Yuva started hosting events celebrating the traditional indian festivals such as Holi, Diwali and Independence day. Our events are open to all and are filled with joy, celebration, traditional delicacies and rituals similiar to those in the great subcontinent of India. Yuva also has a cricket club to promote a healthy and active lifestyle through popular Indian sports such as Cricket. We encourage everyone who wishes to celebrate the Indian culture to join us and be involved in our association!

Our Story

Yuva was founded in 2022 to fill a gap in the market. Our founders noticed there was little to no events for the Indian community in Stockholm and saw a great opportunity to involve a part of the community which felt left out. Our goal with the organization was to allows the Indians in Stockholm to feel more at home through celebrations of traditional festivals such as Holi and Diwali.
